SUMMER 2025 CIT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

We are excited to bring back our CIT Leadership Program this summer! Our CIT program is designed for teens grades 8-10 who want to further develop their leadership and communication skills while gaining hands-on experience working with younger children. This program will provide counselors in training with the information, training and skill development needed to become an excellent counselor. Over the course of the program CITs will learn to use their unique talents and strengths to make positive contributions in any camp setting.

• CITs must have completed 8th grade to apply by June 1st
  
• Selected applicants must commit to a minimum of two weeks 
• CITs will receive Student Service Learning (SSL) hours based on the number of hours worked during the summer, including the training session.
• ​CITs will receive a certificate of completion along with an evaluation
• Before the start of the summer session CITs must attend the mandatory leadership training session
• CIT T-shirts and training manual will be distributed at the training
• Upon acceptance CITs will be assigned to specific camps and will work closely with camp directors​
