PARENT & GUARDIAN FAQ
General Information
Who are Momentum³ programs designed for?
Momentum³ programs are designed for youth athletes ages 7-18 who want structured training, confidence-building, and long-term athletic development. Our programs support athletes across multiple sports and skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes.
What makes Momentum³ different from other programs?
Momentum³ is not a drop-in or recreational program. Every program is intentionally structured around Mentality, Mechanics, and Mastery, combining athletic training, mental performance (MindLAB), and wellness support to develop the complete athlete. We focus on long-term athlete development, not just short-term skills.
What sports and programs do you offer?
Momentum³ offers training and camps across multiple disciplines, including basketball, flag football, baseball/softball, girls lacrosse, soccer, cheerleading, mental performance training, and structured debate and speaking development, Athletic Wellness Club services, and communication/leadership development. Program offerings vary by season. Please check our website or contact us for current program availability.
How are athletes grouped?
Athletes are grouped by age, skill level, and developmental needs to ensure appropriate coaching, safety, and engagement. We maintain small group sizes to ensure quality instruction and individual attention.
What is the typical group size and coach-to-athlete ratio?
Group sizes vary by program but typically range from 8-12 athletes per group. We maintain a coach-to-athlete ratio of approximately 1:10/1:12 to ensure personalized attention and safety. Specialized programs like MindLAB may have smaller group sizes or one-on-one sessions.
Safety & Health
Is Momentum³ safe for my child?
Yes. Safety is a top priority. Programs are led by background-checked, coaches with CPR and First Aid certification, structured to reduce injury risk, and supported by education around recovery, wellness, and preparation. We conduct safety briefings at the start of each program and maintain emergency action plans for all facilities.
What safety measures are in place?
Momentum³ implements comprehensive safety protocols including: background checks for all staff and coaches; CPR and First Aid certified coaching staff; emergency action plans at all facilities; appropriate supervision ratios; age-appropriate equipment and activities; regular safety briefings; incident reporting procedures; and coordination with parents on medical needs and emergency contacts.
Does Momentum³ provide medical or mental health treatment?
No. Momentum³ programs, including MindLAB and the Athletic Wellness Club, provide educational and performance support only. We do not offer medical diagnosis or, treatment, or mental health therapy. Parents should consult appropriate healthcare professionals for medical or mental health concerns.
What if my child has a medical condition, allergy, or special need?
Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or special needs during registration or before the program begins. This information helps our staff provide appropriate accommodations and ensure your child’s safety. For significant medical concerns, we may request additional documentation or a physician’s clearance for participation.
What happens if my child gets injured during a program?
Our staff is trained to respond to injuries and medical emergencies. For minor injuries, we administer basic first aid and notify parents. For more serious injuries, we will contact emergency services and parents immediately. All incidents are documented and reported to parents. We recommend that all participants have current health insurance coverage.

Specific observation policies will be communicated during registration or at the program start.
What is your weather cancellation policy?
For outdoor programs, cancellations due to severe weather will be communicated via email and/or text message as early as possible. We will attempt to reschedule cancelled sessions when feasible. If rescheduling is not possible, prorated credits will be issued. Please ensure your contact information is current so you receive timely notifications.
Behavior & Conduct
What are your behavioral expectations?
We expect all athletes to: treat coaches, staff, and other participants with respect; follow instructions and safety guidelines; demonstrate good sportsmanship; refrain from bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior; and use equipment and facilities responsibly. Parents/guardians are also expected to model respectful behavior and support our coaching staff.
What happens if my child misbehaves?
Momentum³ uses a progressive discipline approach. Minor infractions result in verbal warnings and redirection. Repeated or serious violations may result in parent notification, temporary removal from activities, or dismissal from the program without refund. We prioritize safety and a positive environment for all participants.
